Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of lawns, gardens, and landscapes. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of power tools, mechanical equipment, and various landscaping techniques.
Duties:
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to promote healthy growth and control weeds
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall landscape
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
- Install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Clear snow from walkways and driveways during winter months
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred
- Knowledge of power tools and mechanical equipment used in lawn care
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance
- Ability to operate snow plowing equipment during winter months
- Experience in garden design and plant selection is a plus
- Proficient in tree trimming techniques for shaping and pruning
- Understanding of hardscape installation methods
- Skilled in using hand tools for various landscaping tasks
